Deregistration

Do you not wish to be a member of T.W.I.S.T. anymore? Fill out the deregistration form below before the 31st of August. Your deregistration will be of effect from the 1st of September onwards.

If you are no longer a Linguistics student (BA/(Res)MA), but would like to still attend a few of our activities, you can choose to become a friend member of the association for €10,- a year. With this membership, you can still enjoy our regular activities, sometimes with an additional fee. However, you will not have the right to vote during the GA’s and cannot join our committees. You can find the specific rights for friend members in the Internal Regulations.

As a former member, you can also be registered in our reunist file. We will invite you to reunions and career events.

    Deregistration takes place in accordance with the Statutes and Internal Regulations. In case you deregister halfway through the academic year, you remain the right to receive the TWISTER and activity mail during the remainder of the academic year. Personal data can be deleted earlier than usual in case this is desired.

    By signing this form you grant Study Association T.W.I.S.T. permission to send a direct debit to your bank to withdraw the annual contribution of € 10,- from your account to the account of Study Association T.W.I.S.T.. Additionally, it will allow Study Association T.W.I.S.T. to annually deduct this amount from your bank in accordance with the statutes of Study Association T.W.I.S.T.. If you do not agree with this withdrawal, you may have it refunded. To do this, please contact your bank within eight weeks of the debit. Contact your bank about the terms and conditions. Upon cancellation of membership, your personal data will also be removed from the collection register of the association.
